Richard Madeley is the latest star to face a gruesome challenge on I’m A Celeb.
In scenes set to air on Wednesday night’s episode of the show, the GMB star, 65, is seen taking part in the Castle Kitchen Nightmares task.
Viewers will see the TV stalwart whimpering in fear as he is hurtled down a chute and covered in rotting food in a bid to score stars and food for his campmates.
HELP! Richard Madeley is the latest star to face a gruesome challenge on I’m A Celeb
Richard appeared extremely alarmed as he initially stated: ‘This is freezing’, before the reality set in and the sexagenarian said: ‘This is really, really hard’.
He then said: ‘There’s about seven tonnes of fruit, I’ll never find the star in here!’
His public nomination came as a shock to fans, as there were suspicions Naughty Boy would be nominated following his on-screen meltdown.
I’m A Celebrity was thrown into chaos on Tuesday as both Naughty Boy and Arlene Phillips threatened to quit the show after just three days in the camp.

Gross! He was covered in fruit while attempting to grab the stars
Ha! Hosts Ant and Dec were in hysterics over the trial
The ITV series kicked off its brand new series on Sunday, but the two stars have already shared their intentions to leave the derelict Gwrych Castle following a tough start which saw them spend two days in The Clink.
Music producer Naughty Boy, 36, was particularly vocal about his desire to leave following the Treacherous Traps trial, with the star remarking: ‘My time here is done!’
Tuesday night’s episode saw the musician go head-to-head against Snoochie Shy in the underground trial. The trial had the pair against each other battling against rats and insects for shields.

Tough work: He dug deep in the fruit to find the stars
Snoochie ended up winning the challenge, and Naughty Boy’s team, who continue to stay in the squalid Clink, missed out on beef strips for dinner.
He told his fellow campmates: ‘I do think my time here is done. I had a feeling earlier and I was thinking about mum and obviously I love you guys.
‘I don’t think after knowing what the Main Camp probably knew what they were putting me through knowing I did the challenge earlier – I don’t know if I could ever join that camp.’

Early exit? The ITV series kicked off its brand new series on Sunday, but the two stars have already shared their intentions to leave the derelict Gwrych Castle following a tough start
Naughty Boy’s fellow campers were quick to reassure him that his loss was nothing to worry about, but Naughty Boy continued his threats quit altogether and was joined by Arlene Phillips, 78, – even after the news that they were to join the Main Camp.
Arlene said: ‘I feel exactly the same. For me, I was hoping I was going to come out here strong and proud, but it hasn’t started in the right way.
‘I find it unacceptable. I know that I can’t go on and my mind isn’t going to change in the morning, one night isn’t going to change.’
Will they stay or will they go? Towards the end of the show, Ant and Dec confirmed that the pair have joined the Main Camp for now
Naughty Boy then said: ‘This isn’t a random big decision… I’ve tried my best both times today. I just can’t go from here into that Main Camp… I can’t fake that. I’m sorry.
‘One thing I’ll tell you before you guys go into the Main Camp, as much as they say they love us, they love you… there is no love. When you guys go to the Main Camp, they’re the reason why I left.
‘I can’t continue something that my heart’s not in anymore. I can’t suddenly join a camp who doesn’t give a s**t about us. Sorry, that’s the truth.’
Richard was opposed to the idea of losing two campmates so early in the game. He said: ‘Listen, because we love having you with us, would you not at least sleep on it? You could slap me round the face with a wet fish. I think you should sleep on it!’
